Who is Foothills Leasing? |
Foothills Leasing and Auto Sales was incorporated in 2004 based on the principle of complete customer satisfaction. I, Jim Leader Jr., as the owner absolutely believe that customer satisfaction is the vision towards the future. We have been at our current location, 4615 N. Flowing wells rd. since 2004. We have sold in excess of 5000 vehicles since our opening, and we are very proud of that! Today, we have evolved into a truck sales operation solely, and only sell autos by special order. We have found a niche’ market selling trucks only and we now ship our products all across the United States. Quality control in our products is unparalleled, and we truly believe that we sell the finest pre-owned products available anywhere. As the owner, I always envisioned the day that we would expand into a full service dealership offering on site service. That time has now come! |

Foothills Leasing and Truck Center |
I am very pleased to announce that in 2009, we will open our new facility located at 5101 N. La Canada rd. Our new facility is nestled at the base of the Catalina Mountain Foothills in Tucson Arizona. As many of our clients already know, in 2008 we began to build custom trucks to specific orders from our clients. The new 200,000 square foot facility will incorporate an indoor showroom for certain custom built vehicles as well as a complete service department staffed with top gun technicians. I fully believe that our service department will be un-match and will not be open to the public. I reserved the right to service our own clients only so that we can monitor quality control and be able to rapidly address any service issues for our clients. The opening of this facility is the realization of a dream five years in the making and given the current economic conditions, it is a testament to the strength of this organization and commitment of the staff. We will be very proud to present it to the public in early 2009. |

Why trucks only? |
In mid 2008, everyone knows what happened to fuel costs. Most dealers’ knee jerked and instantly converted to small fuel efficient vehicles, which is great. The problem is that then and now there is a huge demand for trucks and large SUV’s. I gambled and stayed with our trucks, and the best part is that for those who still want trucks, there has never been a better time to purchase as prices are still down. The interesting part is that like quality real estate, the good trucks are still commanding premium prices. We are solidly entrenched in selling American made products, and stay away from imports. I was made in America, I live here and I support her, and American citizen's! |
