Actually it will take a few months for the construction to be finalized, so we're not moving right away. But it's official. Sometime February 2010, Foothills Trucks will be relocating to 5101 North LaCanada Dr just about a mile north of our present location. We're really excited. The new lot is currently near completion so we thought we would share it with all our loyal customers, friends, and family. Who is Foothills Leasing and Truck Center?

Foothills Leasing and Truck Sales was incorporated in 2004 based on the principle of complete customer satisfaction. I, Jim Leader Jr., as the owner absolutely believe that customer satisfaction is the vision towards the future. We have been at our current location, 4615 N. Flowing wells rd. since 2004. We have sold in excess of 5000 vehicles since our opening, and we are very proud of that! Today, we have evolved into a truck sales operation solely, and only sell autos by special order. We have found a niche’ market selling trucks only and we now ship our products all across the United States. Quality control in our products is unparalleled, and we truly believe that we sell the finest pre-owned products available anywhere.  As the owner, I always envisioned the day that we would expand into a full service dealership offering on site service. That time has now come!

Foothills Leasing and Truck Center

After 3 and a half years, I am proud to announce that our new facility located at 5101 N. La Canada Rd. will open for business October 1st, 2009! I am just overcome with excitement for myself my staff, and all of our clients. To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a commitment of this magnitude dedicated to a non-franchised operation. Hold that thought, why would I want to be a franchised dealer? That would mean some government entity might take away all my dreams and accomplishments! Okay, sarcasm aside, the new place is unreal and we are poised to be more successful than ever. The main sales and corporate office building covers just over 5000 square feet, and our service facility is about the same. We will be servicing gasoline and diesel powered trucks and RV’S. Just one catch though, to use our service facility you have to be one of our clients. We are not open to the general public. I chose this avenue because I want to be able to serve our clients in a very timely manner. How many times have you called a doctor not feeling well, and they give you an appointment ten days later? You need the care now, and by not taking outside service, we should be able to handle an emergency service call right away! This operation is just North of River Rd. on La Canada Drive. It is brand new and we invite all of our current and future clients to come see the best that Tucson has to offer from an independent truck dealer!

Why trucks only?

Current market conditions have shot the truck sales right through the roof! This cash for clunkers bill is already failing miserably and people just don’t want to be compelled to drive little vehicles. The myths about not being able to obtain financing are just that, a myth! We can get the best financing rates to be had anywhere! Anyway back to trucks. The American people have always had the will to go out and work hard so that they could play hard. You cannot pull a 5th wheel or a travel trailer or a horse trailer with a Toyota Prius! Our clients are the best in the world and they want their trucks and SUV’s because they live the American dream and want to have fun. I believe that what we sell here is fun, and we have a variety of hard to find trucks not to be found anywhere. I get daily referrals from other dealers who just don’t have the inventory that people want. By the way, if you are a dealer and are reading this, we do not under any circumstances, wholesale our inventory, so please don’t even bother to ask. All of our products go through the strictest inspections to ensure quality, but we overlook things from time to time. Bearing that in mind, you never have to fight to get it right.
